In recent weeks, Putin, alongside high ranking Russian officials, have been rewriting history: they are shifting the blame for the start of World War II from Nazi Germany and the USSR to Western Powers and Poland.
They lied about Poland’s role in the War and they lied and continue to lie about the role and the very nature of the USSR, reviving old Stalinist propaganda.
